Filters Tab of Scene Options

Borders, color filters, background interaction

The filter options for elements allow for significant modification of the element's appearance.

The Direction setting is only available for elements such as photos, videos, clipart, or GIFs. It allows for vertical or horizontal symmetry of the element.
Color (only for cliparts):

Modifies the colors of the element.
Useful when using symbols or vector shapes (SVG) that are by default white.
Border Style:

Allows you to add a shadow, halo, or border to an element, and you can also choose the color and intensity.
3D Borders:

Allows you to add volume or a drop shadow to an element, with customizable color and intensity.
Can be combined with the border filter.
Filters:

You can adjust brightness, contrast, and saturation. The opacity changes the transparency of the element.
Color Filters:

You can either apply a classic color filter (for example, turning your video element black and white or coloring it blue) or use filters that modify the background.
Inverted background, darkened background, lightened background, and gray background allow you to modify the background colors based on the shape of the element for more style and creativity.

Simple shapes available in the symbols category of the clip library are useful for this purpose.
The blur option is useful for blurring a portion of the background image. Ideal to combine with a simple shape clipart to blur just one element in the scene.
