Kudoflix Free Version
What are the limitations of the free version of Kudoflix?
You have access to all creation features
All creation features are accessible in the free version. There are no restrictions or hidden features in the free version. You can do everything in your creation process and bring all your ideas to life. Your movie can contain as many elements as you want, and its duration is unlimited.
This also applies to exclusive content offered on Kudoflix, such as royalty free videos or music.
Restrictions only apply when you want to generate the video file, or use the save, share or online storage features.
Video duration and resolution
When you want to generate the video file of your project, several restrictions may apply.
First, you are limited to two minutes of video in the free plan. You will need to subscribe to the STARTER plan (up to 20 minutes) or PRO plan (unlimited duration) to produce a longer video.
There is also a restriction on the resolution of the video you will obtain, subscribing allows you to get videos with a higher definition.
A Kudoflix logo is also displayed in videos produced with the free version.
Storage and backup
In the free version of Kudoflix, your projects are stored in your browser cache. This is a temporary space where your data may disappear if you do not visit the site for a while or if your computer needs to free up space. You have the option to manually generate a backup file that will allow you to recover your project if the browser cache is cleared.
In the paid version, you create and choose a directory on your hard drive. All projects will be stored there. You also have access to a personal storage space on the Kudoflix servers, and therefore the ability to upload backups of your projects.
