Quick overview of the main differences
Kudoflix aims to maintain the ease of use that made Kizoa successful, with the same simple principles to create your video or slideshow. You just drag and drop elements and instantly see the result on screen.
However, the technologies used for Kudoflix are new and there are many internal differences that make the software far more responsive and powerful than Kizoa.

Kizoa was a fully online service, meaning you had to upload all your photos and videos to their servers, and all processing as well as video generation was done there. This resulted in waiting times to upload or download your data, depending on your internet connection and server load.
Kudoflix is radically different because all your projects are stored directly on your computer first. This significantly reduces waiting times, avoids sending your photos and videos online if you want them to remain private, and removes the risk of losing them in case the service fails.
A Kudoflix subscription provides online storage similar to Kizoa, allowing you to also store your projects on Kudoflix servers. This gives additional security and lets you retrieve your project on your computer or any other device like a phone or tablet.
As with storage, everything at Kizoa was done on online servers, and you had to request video generation and wait to get the final file.
With Kudoflix, everything happens directly on your computer, you no longer have waiting times and can generate your video instantly and as many times as you want. The downside is that video generation depends on your computer's performance, so it needs to be powerful enough to bring your project to life. Kudoflix works perfectly on most computers, and it is recommended to have at least 8GB of RAM and a dedicated graphics card.
With a subscription, you have the option to request video generation on Kudoflix servers from an online backup, similar to how Kizoa used to work.

Kizoa offered a lifetime, unlimited service to its users. There is no such option on Kudoflix, everything is based on monthly or yearly subscriptions. This ensures that the service costs are always covered by current users and not only by future customers. This ensures the long term sustainability of the service.
A loyalty system exists to reduce the subscription cost over time. You do not lose your data if you stop your subscription, because it is stored on your computer. You will only lose the additional backups made online and the videos shared on Kudoflix servers.
